She's convinced Dakota is going to eat the baby...According to her Dakota has one of those "unpredictable" behaviors and could be very dangerous and snap at any moment... ^o)

And did I mention she's only been around Dakota 4 times? Maybe?

I'm so happy my dogs proved everybody wrong. They've been great since the baby got here.
I told them we were going to get a third crate for the baby.
But seriously, I worked really hard to prepare them & couldn't be happier with the result. Hopefully, they'll continue to be awesome once DS gets mobile.

Apparently Hawk's food aggression with dogs (not ever with people) means he will attack anything at any time. Even though he is the best dog I have when it comes to kids.

We work every day to prepare them and they are already very social around babies and young children. I know they will be ok I just wish people would mind their freaking business.

I think most people who know me are smart enough not to say anything about it, and the closest they've come is "How do you think Miko will be with the baby?".

We got this a lot, too. Molly is our first baby and quite the attention whore. We had a few people concerned about how she would react to not being the center of attention anymore.

No one asked if we were getting rid of her. I kept waiting for it, and I was disappointed that I never got to unload on anyone.

Same here!

I had one person comment that she was glad Carl wasn't being aggressive toward the baby (apparently, it never crossed her mind that Reese might be the one to show aggression toward the baby), but she also lives in an area of Canada where pit bulls are banned.

I got that all the time about my cats. Because they will eat the baby, apparently.
