1) I have curly hair, and have been doing the sulfate-free/silicone free thing for a few months (DevaCurl products), but I can't find a balance between too dry (if I shampoo, even lo-poo, every day), or too greasy (if I alternate lo-poo/no poo or lo-poo/co-wash). I'd love to keep good moisture without feeling like an oil slick. Would dry shampoo help me?
2) I like to to the gym, but hate having wet hair afterward. I've heard of using dry shampoo after workouts. I would most-likely put my hair back into a bun or something post-workout (how I have to wear my hair for work), so I'm not too worried about how it would affect my style. Should I try dry shampoo?
Ditto the Suave Keratin. I usually use it when I am on day two and sometimes day three of not washing my hair. It gives good volume and keeps my style for the entire day, usually better than hairspray.
I use Suave on days 2 and 3 of not washing. It keeps my hair from getting too greasy. I don't have curly hair, though. Mine is straight, thick, and course.
I've tried Suave and hated it. The smell is terrible, and it leaves my hair looking flat and dull. If you're just pulling it into a bun, that probably won't matter for you, however.
I like Big Sexy Hair dry shampoo best; I'm not a fan of Suave's. I typically use it on my day 3 hair and will sometimes spray it in the night before and I feel like it prevents the oil a bit. I also use regular baby powder sometimes but if you're not blonde it may not blend in.
