I know it is rated R, but is it because of bad language or are there sex scenes in it?
If you have a 13 year old, would you let them see it? I am asking because my 13yo was invited to see it with her best friend and her parents, but I've never let her watch a rated R movie before.
Part of me thinks it would be OK if it is just a bunch of bad words because she hears them at school, but the other part of me says no because it's rated R for a reason, right?
My mom never let my sister and I see rated R movies when we were younger.
WWMLD? Would you let your teenager see this movie?

Do you mean The Heat, the new movie that came out with Sandra Bullock & Melissa McCarthy? I can't find a Miami Heat movie.
In Canada The Heat is only rated 14A (14 and up or with an adult) vs 18A or R, so at least here teenagers could see it no problem. There were jokes about sex and slutty clubbing clothes in one scene, but no upper or lower nudity. Other movies that got the same rating here were the Lord of the Rings movies, Argo, and the Silver Lining's Playbook.
