I ordered this headband about 3 weeks ago, I bought it to wear to a wedding that's next weekend. When the headband arrived, one of the two straps was already disconnected, the whole thing is held together by these tiny little "jump" metal rings that basically open and close by pinching together. They come apart VERY easily, and when I put the headband on (it's elastic), the rings open up and the headband falls apart. My head isn't gigantic or anything, the headband isn't too tight, the rings are the problem, they are not strong or thick enough. I emailed the seller and told her about the problem. I told her she could just send me some sturdier rings (ones that are like tiny little keychain rings, "split rings," I did specify this) that would hold the headband together better. I was clear this is what I needed in order to fix the headband and get to wear it. She said she could mail those to me or I could mail the headband to her and she'd repair the whole thing. However, she's in CA and by the time I got it back, it would be too late to wear it to the wedding.
I received the replacement rings in the mail yesterday and they are the same exact rings that are on the headband now. SMH.
Would you say anything? Or let it go? I did look up what it would cost to purchase a bag of the tiny rings I did ask for, it's like $6 from Amazon, would it be unreasonable to ask her to refund me $6 so I can purchase them myself?
I'd send her a message outlining why you are unhappy and what she can do to fix it. Give her a time line. If she doesn't fix the situation then you can always dispute it with PP and leave negative feedback. I take that seriously - I pay attention to feedback but clearly those rings aren't going to ever work. She just needs better materials.

I'd contact her for sure. I bet she will want to fix it.
I left neutral feedback for a seller recently and she harassed me and threatened my life (lol) so I'm not wary of leaving neutral or negative feedback ever again. I'd def contact before leaving feedback.
