We auditioned for Family Fued today

It was a lot of fun! There were about 30 families so we were the "audience" for each other. Each group plays two rounds against another family. We won a round and lost a round. Who knows what will happen but at least we had fun and it was cool to spend a random weekday with our family- DH, SIL and two BILs.

Ironically, I attended a filming of the show last week and the same day DH got an email response to an application that he sent in last August! So I ended up at the studio two weeks in a row.

My dad and his family was on the show back in the early 80's. They won like $10,572 or some random number like that.

I LOVE Family Feud, I watch it a lot on Game Show Network, I'm especially loving the new episodes with Steve Harvey as host, he is SO funny. Good luck!!!!!

My ILs were on that show in the 80s too. They lost (but took home a lovely set of steak knives!) in part b/c when asked to name a popular country for vacationing, my MIL answered California or something ridiculous.

I was pretty darn close! It was $10,528.

I would post a picture of them holding a sign with the total $ money they won, but it has my maiden name in it.

Well I guess we didn't make it! They send postcards to the families that will be on within 3 weeks.
Oh well. It was fun and maybe we'll audition again. One of the casting people told us when we were there that a family had just gotten on after auditioning three times. So you never know.
