I placed an order with jcrew last week and never got an email confirmation.  When I log into my account there is no evidence of an order, but the money went through paypal. 

Do they typically send emails? 

I order from them so rarely I'm not sure what's normal

This happened to me last year when I place a huge order from them from one of their clearance sales. I pay with credit card though and after waiting and waiting they had no record of my order and they didn't charge my card. I was very disappointed because everything I wanted sold out and I did not notice until two weeks after I had placed my order that I never got a confirmation email.

I would call. I placed an order at factory last night and got an email almost immediately.

I placed a few orders last week (I have a problem!) and got confirmations right away. They also shipped the next day.

I agree about calling to confirm. They email and ship hella fast.
