I'm training heavier than I ever have and it is making me a ravenous bafoon. I am eating ridiculous amounts of food frequently. I can't keep up with myself. Are there any other "normal" people out there that eat multiple times while at work? And not just a handful of something, but actual meals? I feel a little weird and alone. Just looking for solidarity.

My co-worker who orders food for the office asked me slyly about my breakfast one morning. I eat constantly, but it's mostly stuff like veggies, big salads, fruit and nuts, so I shouldn't feel so bad? I hit the ice cream at home
I had a burger topped with guacamole as a snack today. My grocery bill is nauseating
Yup, I've totally done this. And other people are like "Oh look at me, I spent $80 for two weeks of groceries." And I'm over here, like, FUCK, I spend more than that on meat for one week.
Marathon training was the pits. I went out one night with friends and consumed a burger with cheese and bacon, announced I was still hungry, and my friends asked if I had worms. :/
Everyone makes fun of me at work because I am ALWAYS eating.
Same here! I snack all day! The old ladies I used to work with would get pissed cause I ate all day and was thin. Lol! If I don't eat every few hours I get low blood sugar and you REALLY don't want to see me when that happens!

Oh it's good to read this, DH competes in road bike races and is super slim. 6'3" and 175, he eats like a machine or a high school guy. Our grocery bill is crazy. I am a huge eater too and sure it will just go up now that I am marathon training. We traveled with our friends over spring break and they were shocked by the massive amounts of food we put down. I typically eat three meals and two snacks a day.
Last week I felt like such a tool, because there was a girl in my office working on one of my computers and while she was in there (2 hours or so) I ate a full meal and 2 snacks. lol
I eat constantly, to the point that people regularly comment on it (which drives me crazy, even though they typically mean it to be a compliment, as in "how can you eat so much and still be thin"). But I work out really hard and I'm super active, so I really am always hungry. I tend to be an all day grazer, which actually works for me, because if I let myself get to the point where I'm starving then I will make unhealthy choices. I figure if I'm hungry, I should eat. So I do.
