Tell me about your SLR camera

How did you learn to use your SLR camera? Did you take a class? Teach yourself? I am so overwhelmed!

I had mine for about 2 years before I took a class. There's a lot you can do in the automatic modes, but taking a class was definitely worth it.

There are also books, but I'm not great at learning how to do things like that from reading about them.

I took a short night class at the local art school.
