Should I get bangs? *Now w/ Pics*

Hi guys.  I'm getting my hair straightened and trimmed tonight and I want to do something different.  I want to possibly get highlights in the future, but I'm thinking of just doing something less drastic and get bangs.  I haven't had one in 10 years.  I do have long side bangs with layers. 

The only issue is that I have curly/kinky hair, so once I wash it, I may have short curly pieces in the front.  I pin my hair up in the front the majority of the time, so it may not be an issue.  What do you think?

I think you'd look great with a chunky side swept bang and that way the hair might be long enough that even when curly might not be unmanageable.

I kept my side bang and my hair grew pretty long.  It's pretty humid outside, so my curls fell before I got home  </3.  I think this is the longest it has been in 10 years, especially since I stopped relaxing my hair!  Thanks for everyone's help .
