I have been to pig roasts but it has always been a catering type deal where the pros roast the pig. I would be terrified to do it myself personally but if you end up doing it please share the results here!

The neighborhood where the IL's live do this once a year. It is awesome. Do it on a spit. Takes some doing, though, you have to either hook it up to a motor or get someone to crank that bastard pretty frequently.

I am not a vegetarian, but there is definitely something about seeing my food in its original form that freaks me out. I don't like when they grill the whole fish either. I don't want to see eyeballs!
