Hello again...

I'm working today, hoping for the afternoon off. I have a meeting with my therapist at 2:30. No plans for tonight, might have a friend over to watch a movie, otherwise I'm going to bed early.

H is free from the army (for the weekend) tomorrow at 7, so I'm going to pick him and we are FINALLY going to buy our new car, I'm so excited! Hopefully we'll go out for lunch and ice cream after (I've been craving a local gelato place). Saturday afternoon H's company has a family day picnic that we'll probably stop by at and hang out with some of his friends from work in the evening.

Sunday, hopefully we're going hiking in the Alps in Gruyères.

QOTD: Usually a watch, I switch it up between my Tissot, a white Swatch, and my collection of Swatch Touch (H's project at work, so of course we have a lot ) and something on my ring finger, but not necessarily my wedding band (I don't like it anymore... )

QOTD: I don't wear any jewelry. I used to wear my wedding band and engagement ring, but I only wear those on special occasions now because the band is uncomfortable and the ring scratches my son's skin sometimes.

It's my last day of regular classes! Hurray!
I have two classes with the littlest ones, which is always the most difficult. They're so sweet though!

QOTD: I wear my wedding rings and, if I'm working, my watch. I get so uncomfortable in class if I don't have my watch.

I'm feeling much better. DH told me soon as my parents are back from their cruise (which starts today), I can talk to them about booking one for next year. I have the best husband in the world. And on top of that wonderful thing, he is taking me to Melbourne with him next Friday. He has a half-day seminar and I am visiting the National Gallery of Victoria and then we are having an early dinner at a Belgian Beer Garden.

QOTD: I wear my engagement ring everyday (we don't have wedding bands yet). I wear earrings everyday, but not the same pair. If I am at work, I'll wear my watch. And in cooler months, I wear a garnet pendant from DH.

Happy Friday! I am going to do some crazy whirlwind shopping and cleaning this morning because we are getting friends over for the weekend. In the afternoon I have to attend a political event and after have dinner with an assembly person. Will end the night with a debate about sustainable energy. This weekend we'll visit our newly adopted kitten and then hang out with our friends all weekend.

QOTD: I wear my engagement ring and wedding band, a watch my husband gave me, sapphire earrings that match my engagement ring (both made by my dad who is a gold smith) but sometimes I switch them up with hoops, and frequently a necklace that I inherited from my aunt who passed away fairly recently. I used to always wear a big bangle but I find that it doesn't match with much else I wear like wedding band (still love that bangle though).

Morning! Only work, work, work planned for this weekend. There´s so much to get done in the yard, but at least it´s all finally taking shape and we will finally be done for the next several years, I hope.

QOTD: I used to wear my wedding ring and e-ring all the time, but I stopped doing that when I was pg with DD. Now I just wear them for special outings since the ring usually scratches DD and I don´t want to get them messed up when I´m out in the yard. DH wears his everyday, though.

Morning! I am off to my first OB appointment. The woman said she speaks English, I hope it's true!

QOTD: I used to wear a swarovski necklace DH got for me when we were dating every day, but with Kernel constantly pulling at things i don't wear any jewlery at the moment.

ETA: I do wear my engagement and wedding rings every day.

Morning! So glad today has been Friday. I turned in my notice on Monday, so the week has been stupid busy trying to get everything sorted out, plus having to try to tell 'key' people in person.

Hoping to relax a bit this weekend and start getting things planned for the move.

QOTD: Generally wear my engagement ring and wedding band, a pair of earrings (which I rotate) or a necklace, a few beaded bangles, and two other rings on my right hand. I feel like it's a lot compared to you ladies!

Umm. I'm babysitting in the morning. Afternoon? Go to CVS for a return. I really need to drop of the 6 bags of recyclables at a drop-off. I'm hoarding them worse then I did in CH. but I just refuse to put them in the trash.

Tonight we are going to Stammtisch at the German-American center. Always really fun.

My weekend plans are to not die of heat stroke. And get the laundry done. I need to find a place with a/c. My usual mat does not have it. Last month I was so sweaty and sick from doing laundry. Hopefully I find a place.

QOTD: I used to wear my weddings rings non-stop. But they got slightly snug. And now that it's pushing 90F a lot now my fingers are swelling hard core. Winter I couldn't control heat in our apartment and I was having issues with swelling too. *sigh* I'm going to try and pop them on today again. When it's hot my other jewelry makes me uncomfortable. So I usually put stuff on for special occasions.

I have a lot of errands to run this morning but I am still going to chill for another hour or so.

QOTD: Nothing. I dont wear my wedding ring. I think I have to find it.

I have had a big project thrown at me so I am going to be working like a dog until my Egypt vacation. Forgive me if there are random typos in my replies or if they are at weird hours. Over the weekend, I plan to go swimming, explore the area and generally vegetate. I also have a bunch of crazily stressful other stuff going on so I am fried.

QOTD: I don't wear jewelry while working. Otherwise, I tend to vary it up. I have a lot of jewelry and I am terrified of wearing pieces out. I've had a few lovely necklaces break and I was heart-broken by that. I have a lot of November topaz. SO has given me some very beautiful jewelry including necklaces made of Croatian sea coral and symbolic pieces. I also wear Danish amber and elaborate Turkish necklaces when I go out.

I just got back from the farmers' market with my supplies for the Father's Day dinner I am cooking Sunday- Rabbit in Beer (it sounds better in French)! Now, I am trying to work, even though a Skype call with one of the writers I translate was of such crappy quality that we had to end it. I am waiting for an email from him so I can finally send this manuscript to my editor!

QOTD: I haven't taken my nose ring out in 5 years. I wear my engagement ring and wedding band most of the time, even to sleep. I only take them off to cook and to wash my hair.
