So I'm happy to report that one baby is looking perfect - measuring right on schedule and even waving around tiny little fingers. However, the other baby passed away a couple weeks ago. I'm sad about it, I was really looking forward to twins, but I am feeling very grateful to have such a perfect looking baby staying safe inside of me for now. This takes me to second trimester!!

Oh no, Pitt, I'm so sorry you lost one of the babies. :- ( It's great that the other one is looking healthy, though. Have they said whether it's at any increased risk since the other one is still in there? Make sure you take time to mourn the one you lost if you feel like you need to.
Edit: My sad face turned into a tacky crying emoticon. Sorry.

I'm so sorry for you losing one baby, but one completely healthy one is definitely something to be happy about as well. Sending you healing vibes and happy&healthy 6 more months vibes!
Pitt, I've been thinking about you recently and wondering was everything ok. That is so sad you lost one baby, but I'll be thinking about you and the other baby - stay healthy both of you.
(What happens now with the other baby? I'm just curious, so please don't feel you have to answer that...)
Kelly - apparently since they each had their own sac, this doesn't make me high risk for the other one. I think I'm going to have a private scan done in a few weeks for reassurance, but they don't have me booked for another scan until the typical one at 20 weeks.
Irish - Apparently it just stays there and eventually gets reabsorbed by my body. It's kind of freaking me out honestly.
Thanks y'all, I really am okay, it was a bit of a shock but I'm so relieved to have a healthy baby in there it's all good.

Have you thought about getting a doppler for at home? I got an Angelsounds doppler with DD, and it was probably the best 40€ I spent for pregnancy stuff.
