-He came in and said that my blood levels were off before my colonoscopy (DUHHHH!!!) He specifically is concerned about my liver enzymes. He is not as concerned about my C reactive protetin being up but he said it makes sense.
-He wants me to get my blood re-taken next month
-Come back in Sept. to see if the new medicine he gives me works at all (this is for colon spasms and it supposed to work better than what I currently have)
-He may want to do an abdominal MRI or an ERCP, based on how I am feeling in Sept. and my blood work. (no guarantees he wants to re-assess in Sept. at my appt)
-If it is what he thinks it may be then I MAY need another surgery to fix the bilary duct.
Now I just need to decide if I want to hold off on the pill cam and go down this rabbit hole. I really don't want another surgery but I am desperate for relief at the same time. Whatever this is it is painful as HELL. I was up all night getting sick again

Sounds like you found a good Dr! I have had many ERCP's to replace a stent in my bile duct. Please let me know if you have any questions!
I had a liver transplant and they removed my gallbladder at the time of my transplant. An ERCP looks at the bile duct. In my case, my donor's bile duct was bigger than my bile duct so they needed to stretch my bile duct with a stent to match my donors. I get knocked out with propofol and don't remember a thing. I always wake up higher than a kite and am released after about an hour. It's painless and I have zero side effects.

I certainly don't want to hope for the surgery option but I hope you get some relief really soon without having to get to that point. Sounds like the new doc has better guidance and ideas for treatment, hopefully the meds start working and you feel better soon.
audry80, did you ever get pancreatitis from these procedures ? It seems to be a huge risk according to Dr Google.
I've decided to wait on the pill cam and pursue this potential diagnosis of SOD. It seems more logical based on my symptoms.
I need to call the doc next week to see how long I can put it off (especially with my furlough pay).
I guess I wait and see what my blood tests show next month.
No pancreatitis and I am high risk for complications. Knock on wood, I haven't had any adverse reactions. They do prescribe antibiotics to take as a precaution. I hope you find answers and get relief soon.
