I've been lifting (for the first time in my life) for about two weeks now and just started NROLW (yes I know I'm behind on that trend). I feel like I'm constantly starving. I've definitely had runger before but not this intense.
I think if anything I need to up my protein as much as I can and that should probably help. I really just want to know if anyone else experienced a ravenous kind of hunger when they first started lifting or am I just being weird?
Yes. It never went away. The heavier I lift, the hungrier I am.
Protein and fat. Wash, rinse, repeat.
It's effing protein man. It gets me every time. Yes I know there are PLENTY of vegan protein sources. I just feel like I have to drink three protein shakes or eat a ton to get it all in.

I can't even imagine trying to get my protein in from just plants. Kudos to you for making it work.
I experienced ravenous hunger the entire time I was doing NORLFW. That's why I finally gave it up after about 8 months. Constantly starving is a miserable state of being, and I was actually gaining weight because I was eating so much.
