I'm reading Game Change on the Kindle (I know, everyone else has already read this book) and Courtroom 302: A Year Behind the Scenes in an American Criminal Courthouse from the library. I rarely read two books at once but they're both so interesting that I don't want to put one down for an extended period of time!
Little Princes by Conor Grennan - about children orphaned by child traffickers in Nepal. It's good.
As soon as I finish these I'm reading the Wool Omnibus. I am so excited for that series and have such high expectations based on the rave reviews. I started it a little bit and it's already sucked me in.
I'm re-reading Jane Eyre! I'm figuring I'll finish it tonight and then I'll be able to move on to the next episode of my challenge. I already have all the books in my possession!
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain
I just finished reading Paradise by Judith McNaught. It was so good! It's now my favorite book! I absolutely could not put it down and couldn't wait to read more.
I finished reading Hotel at the Corner of Bitter & Sweet. It was a nice story. Nothing to fabulous. I wasn't in love with it, but I liked it well enough.
I also started and am currently reading The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley. So far, so good.
Still in my queue is Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell, but it's my book club's June selection. I'm not too motivated to read it. I also had In the Garden of Beasts checked out via download, but I just couldn't get in to it. Too dark. It's been returned.

I just finished reading Inconceivable by Carolyn and Sean Savage. It was pretty good. I'm interested in reading the other side of the story, Misconception, now.
I just downloaded The Handmaid's Tale for the weekend.

I plan to finish up Pride and Prejudice this weekend (or at least on Monday if I get too busy!) After that I am going to pick up another classic to start working on and probably do a reread of The Kite Runner. I'm also looking into starting research on novels I could use for my thesis. My local library doesn't have much in the way of what I'm looking for, though.

I'm putting Wuthering Heights on the back burner for now. Too many books are coming in from my holds list at the library that I need to get through.
I just finished Number the Stars by Lois Lowry this afternoon and started 'Salem's Lot by Stephen King. I'm only about 40 pages in and it's already creeping me out :Y:

I'm reading some fluffy chick lit by Madeleine Wickham (aka Sophie Kinsella) because I had to surrender the Kindle to DH on our vacation and it was the only paper book I had with me. I'm starting The Art of Forgetting tomorrow for my book club.
I've been in a funk lately. I've been reading a lot, but I haven't really liked the books, so I went with an old tried and true. I'm reading and almost done with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

11/22/63 Good. Not very Stephen King-ish so I'm happy with it. Time travel, but not crazy creepy. I'm about 80% done.
The Drums of Autumn - I think I finally got to the part where it picks back up again. But then I switched kindles with my sister, so it might be a few weeks until I can finish it.
Audio - Two for the Dough - Stephanie Plum series. Meh. I doubt I'll continue. This one isn't even as good as the first.
In between books. Writing until vacation tomorrow (8 hours in the car!) to start the next one. I'm trying to finish up the Detective D.D Warren series by Lisa Gardner (I have 2 left) and then am starting another Michael Connelly series. (finished the Lincoln lwayer series recently, starting Harry Bosch.)
I'm still reading Doctor Zhivago. It's a good book and a fairly easy read but I haven't put the time into sitting down with it. Instead, I just keep getting snippets while sitting on the pot. lol
