Wedding gift Q

We gave our friends a check for their wedding which was 2 months ago. Our check still hasn't been cashed. Would you ask to make sure they received it? I'm just afraid they didn't get it and think we didnt give them a gift! Or is that awkward to ask them about? I don't know about others but H and I deposited all our wedding gift checks just a few days after our wedding, so I'm like "nothing after 2 months?" And anyone else we've given a check to has always cashed them quickly.

Nope because it seems like they didn't even get our gift to begin with since no check deposited yet

It was over Memorial Day weekend.

Just let them know you were concerned your gift wasn't received since it hadn't cleared your account.

If it were me, I'd ask to make sure they received it. It's not like you just didn't get a thank you, it's the fact the check hasn't been cashed, which seems odd months later.
