There is a mud run at the end of Sept that I am going to do. While I know that I'm not in the best of shape, I plan on excising more in preparation. Right now I do zumba twice a week but I feel that I need more "practice." At the very least I would like to run half a mile without feeling like I'm going to die before the mud run. I also love to bike so I plan on starting to do that ever so often. Does anyone had advise on what I should add to my exercise regimen? Other than obviously start running some? Any other helpful advice?
Can you do Couch to 5K? When I did Warrior Dash last year, that's how I trained. 8 weeks. I also did indoor cycling and strength training, targeting my core/back and legs as much as possible.
I'm doing it again in September and I just got my fat ass off the couch on Wednesday to do C25K week 2.
