I got a BFP yesterday pretty early- 9 DPO. Did you guys call a doctor right away? Did they want you to come in for a blood draw or anything? I'm sure it varies by doctor, just wanted to get a few opinions. I feel kind of silly thinking about calling before I've even missed my period!
I got the positive pg test on a Saturday, and called my OB that Monday to find out what the next step was. They scheduled me for a prenatal education appt at 7.5 weeks (medical history review, blood test, and urine test...but emphasized that the latter two were NOT to confirm pregnancy just get baseline numbers) and my first appointment/ultrasound with my OB was the next week at 8.5 weeks. They would have scheduled the two appointments on the same day or closer together but I had to schedule the education appt around my own patients at work (they only do these appts on Tues and Thurs and I'm off on Mondays) but was able to have the u/s on my next weekday off.

I called right away because I had TTTC and knew that the second I would get pregnant, I would be considered high risk and my doc would want to see me right away. First appt was 4 weeks.6 days. If thqt hadn't been the case I would've waited until I was a week late with confirmed HPT as per the 3 closest midwife or OB offices' instructions.
Every doc is different though, it never hurts to call and ask...

I got a BFP on Wed, found a Dr Thursday, called on Friday. (i didn't want to go to the ob-gyn i was already seeing, so i needed to find someone else). I went in about 1.5wks later. They didn't do any bloodwork, i peed in a cup, but i have no idea what the tested for.
I called immediately with the first. They told me to make an appt for after I missed my second period.
For this pregnancy, I had a visit scheduled anyway so I mentioned it while I was there. They gve me a test in the office and confirmed a positive there. That was just before 5 weeks.

I didn't test until I missed my period (that was my cue to test), but if we were TTC and I didn't miss my period yet, I likely would have called right away. They'll let you know when they'll see you.
i already had a gyno appt scheduled so i just went as planned, but i was still two days before my missed period at the appt. the OB did not believe me until she saw the test results lol.
This is how I feel! My period isn't due until Friday/Sat. It's such a weird feeling...I had a dream I was pregnant so I thought I'd test, thinking it would be way too early.
I called the day after (which ended up being the day that my period was supposed to start) and they had me come in that week since I'm diabetic and automatically high risk.
I called the day after, when the line was a tiny bit darker - it was the day AF was due.
They did not have me come in (per their policy) for a blood test because I have no history of m/c or IF. I was scheduled for two weeks later, and at that appointment they did a pee test, an internal, a pap, and told me my due date. My first u/s wasn't until 8w5d.
I called mine the day after my BFP - 10 dpo - they wanted me to come in ASAP. I ended up going in at 5 weeks. They did an ultrasound to see if I was right about my DD. I also had an ultrasound to see the HB around 7 weeks.

I got a BFP on a Sunday, and called my doctor's office. I came in to do the urine test a couple of days later. That Thursday I had a prenatal visit with a nurse, had some blood draws, peed in another cup, and left with an armful of pamphlets. I was about 6 weeks then and I had my first appointment with the OB at 8 weeks.

I didn't have an OB/GYN at the time, so I spent a day or two researching doctors in the area, then called right away to make sure they were accepting patients. They set up the first appointment for ~8.5 weeks.

I found out last Friday at 12 dpo and called this am. I also felt weird calling before I missed my period. I felt like missing my period sealed the deal regardless of the what the tests said.

I tested the day I was supposed to get my period. When I told my OB he thought I was further along than I thought.. but I had tested on Monday & got a negative, tested on Wed & got a positive.. Plus, MH traveled a lot at that time so I knew when I O'd and I knew H was home.
Congratulations! I was three days late when I got my BFP, and called the next day, my appointment is in a week. They said they see patients for the first time between 6 and 8 weeks.
I didn't have an obgyn at the time. I was in the process of researching doctors, but I started spotting on the weekend after I got a positive test. My primary care doctor sent me to the ER. After a bunch of tests, I was referred to an obgyn the following Monday, about 6 weeks in. By then, the spotting had stopped, but they did more blood work to follow up the ER visit and confirm that my levels were rising. It was declared implantation bleeding and after one more round of blood work/ultrasound confirmation with the doc, I didn't have to go back until 9 or 10 weeks when I began normal prenatal care.

I got a BFP on a Friday, a few days after I should have gotten my period. Took me a few days to find a doctor, and had my first appointment this morning, at just about 8 weeks. From what I'm told, unless you're high risk, most doctors will want you to make your fist appointment for the 8-10 week mark.
