My mom as also a legal immigrant (now a citizen) and is probably pissed as well. She sent me an email the other day, titled, "Really?!? THAT'S what's important to Obama??" with an article about who Obama plans to address climate change in his second term, if re-elected.

I think this is due to the context that it may be his first priority - as opposed to, y'know, the economy and/or job growth.
