75-100? I don't know, if I've learned anything from the nest its that these things are both regional and a touchy subject. I guess I'm thinking I would send a little bit less than I would if I were attending the wedding.
I definitely agree on it being a regional question. But, that's funny that you would send less than if you were attending. I've always thought the opposite (I don't know why!), that I should send more if I'm not attending b/c I'm saving on all of the money I'd spend if I went to the actual wedding. This is why I love the nest (or proboards)... learn something new every day!

For someone close my husband and I give $100 whether we attend or not. It's what we can afford. If money was tight we would do less probably. The gift should not cause a hardship. For our wedding one guest gave $10. It was what they could afford. No judgements. We were just happy they could attend the wedding.
