I'd give myself a week and a half before I accidentally ate something poisonous because I was so hungry. It also depends on the time of year.
Might be shorter in the jungle because there are more poisonous plants and animals.
Might be shorter in the mountains, too, though, if it's not summer. If it's winter but I can't find a real cave or make a snow cave, I'd probably make it max 2 days since I don't know how to start a fire (I learned once upon a time, but probably couldn't remember now).

In a jungle, I'd make a couple of weeks unless a poisonous creature got me. I have some jungle experience. I have zero mountain experience and issues with elevation, so not sure on that front.

If I were allowed to study a bit about food stuff and medicinal values of plants, than I think I might survive for a while in either place. Otherwise, only as long as I could survive before I ate something poisonous or got a cut that would get infected (and in the jungle that would go bad faster than in the mountains I think). I've done wilderness stuff a bit, so I think I could survive the mountains longer. Oh, and the time of year would be important too.

How long does it take to die from slitting your wrists? I mean, I have a knife, right? That's about how long I'd survive. I wouldn't want to torture myself, starving and trying to live, because I know I'd be a goner.
mountains, no issue. My weird effed up childhood involved 2-3 week trips in the mountains with little more than that. So think I got it covered. The jungle? I would be lucky to last the first night.
