Mine does this too. I've tried going up and down a size, but I think it's one of those inevitable thing when you have 'cushion' on your back.

A thinner band may help, but that is difficult to find when you're a larger size. And doesn't give much support.

It could be the wrong size.....it could also just be a shitty bra. Maybe go try on some other brands and do some yoga moves in the dressing room to see if any of them also roll up.

I had a really shitty Nordstrom's fitting experience where she told me that quad boob was normal, so it's entirely possible that the woman helping you was wrong.

I've tried both of these on and really liked them. The bands are nice and wide and smooth. The brand seems to run slightly large so keep that in mind.

If I remember correctly, I think the second one just looks like lace but its actually a pattern on the bra. I think.

ETA: Those are both push ups because all my heft is in the bottom half of my boobs. Just look for the Parisa Fe brand, they all have wide bands and they're not all lacey/pushup/seamed.

Like I said, the Parisa Fe brand seems to run slightly large, so maybe see about your regular size in one of those bras?

I'm a similar size, and the twit at Nordstrom tried to put me in the wrong size band because of the squish factor. It's not the right size band if it's digging into my flesh! I like these, although they aren't as sturdy as some because the fabric edges are glued down instead of sewn (they can never go in the dryer, for example). But at this price point I'm not picky:
