If you have a big item pick up, beaware that is illegal to keep the doors on it. Some dumps may also require the door off for you to dump it. i would re-freeze like suesue said.

oooh boy - yeah - not pretty at all!
Let me just say that in college I had a job going room to room in the summer checking that the cable outlets still worked (seriously). One of the directions for students when they left (if they were returning to the same room) was to clean out their mini fridges, unplug them, and leave the door open so they wouldn't mildew or leak their defrosting freezer water out on the floor. I started checking rooms in May and didn't finish until August. The last building I checked was an off campus frat house that's University owned. In one of the rooms the guys had neglected one step in the fridge directions - clean it out! OMG that room smelled SO BADLY I couldn't even work in it. My eyes were watering and I thought I'd puke even before I opened the door.

OMG "leakage", "drippings" and "maggoting" have me all
We once did not see a bag of chicken we had bought at the store was still in my trunk. It was in the 90s that week. A few days later my car smelled like death, and....yeah. H cleaned that one out. And this seems 10 times worse.
DO NOT GO NEAR THAT THING. Seriously, this kind of shit is what husbands are made for. You just stay inside, away from the windows, and give him hair pats after he's cleaned that sucker out (and had a decontamination shower).
