I have a Go Baby- I got it on sale with a bunch of dies for $109. I have since purchased 2 other dies- it works really well, I've been able to cut 8 layers without fraying (it says 10, I think that is pushing it). If you find the size of die you use most frequently it is definitely worth it.
Also, I recently made a quilt for which I appliqued a bunch of circles. It was a LIFESAVER for me not to have to cut those circles. The die worked great.
The only downsides I can think are that the special shapes (circles, flowers, whatever) have a lot of fabric waste, and skip the "Value Die" it is too hard to get your pieces into just one of the shapes (especially the middle one). It came free with mine but I've seriously never used it.
Dies I use most frequently are the 5" square and the 2" strips.

Thanks - I'd heard that some of the dies ended up wasting a lot of fabric, but then I've seen tutorials on YouTube that focus on minimizing waste with the Go. I've also seen tutorials that show how to use it with fabric scraps to make different scrappy quilts.
How often do you have replace the mats? Have you had issues with any of the dies not cutting the fabric fully?

I haven't had to replace my mats yet. They're about a year old- the machine doesn't really cut so deeply I feel like the mats are really broken, and I alternate sides per their instructions.
The only time the dies don't cut the fabric fully are if you have stacked too many layers (like I said, 8 layers of quilting cotton is generally fine on mine), or if you're trying to cut something stretchy (one of the appliques I did was a recycled t-shirt and the edges on it weren't perfect due to the stretch). I have not tried to cut minky, terry cloth or anything super thick. I have cut flannel, but only 2 layers at a time and it was fine.
