So my daughter got her ears pierced on Monday afternoon. By last night one was "killing her" and looked purple and swollen. So I took the earring out. No puss or anything. Today the ear looks better but she has a big nodule behind her ear on her neck. I am thinking Lymph node fighting infection. Should I do a minute clinic visit? her doctors office closed. I wonder if she need an antibiotic. She is six ftr.

If you're concerned, take her to the minute clinic.
DD had a nodule on her neck for a while, we took her to the doctor and she had what they called "reactive lympnh nodes" essentially her body was fighting something off but she wasn't presenting with any symptoms.
Thanks Ladies. the nodule on her neck concerns me and her throat is sore.I just wouldn't want her to suffer through the weekend if she needs an antibiotic ya know what i mean.

With it being Friday I'd take her to a minute clinic the last thing you want is her getting worse overnight and having to deal with it over the weekend. It's probably nothing but I'd run her in just to be sure she isn't coming down with something.
(Just this morning I considered taking the kiddo in to check her bug bites aren't chicken pox. So far I've used self control. Weird purple lymph nodules are a sure doctor visit for me.)

Just throwing another possibility out there, it could be a metals allergy. I'm an extremely allergic to nickel, which is in just about any kind of jewelry. I cannot wear anything less than 14k gold. When I first got my ears pierced as a kid, they were swollen, sore and never healed.
