-We have an IHOP coupon for buy one meal get one free. I'm scared to go because it's Mother's day, so it's going to be super crowded.

-My bird is still sleep and it's after 1030 (he gets up around 9).

H and I stayed up until 2am finishing Downton Abbey. I'm exhausted. I really should be doing some work right now but I don't wanna. I'm going to really regret this tomorrow.

Also, C woke up on the bratty side of the bed this morning. He's been a serious whiney pain in the ass.

I'm going out to see The Avengers this afternoon with someone I met through Craigslist. I seriously suck at making friends. She seems normal and pretty cool so far.....so *fingers crossed*!

I bought Gilmore Girls seaason 1 yesterday and my entire day is going to consist of hanging out in bed watching GG.

I'm thinking I want to get mexican for dinner even thought we just went there. It's my favorite and I get to pick.

this is an excellent plan. I love Gilmore girls.

The idea of a cranky bird is weird and funny to me.

I'm very much regretting drinking last night. It was fun, but I lost my composure, and I don't like that feeling.

Falada, tell me more about this making friends through Craigslist please. I'm having the hardest time meeting people/making friends since we moved to a new city and I travel almost every week from home. Have you met other people that way? Making friends at this age is hard! I hope it goes well this afternoon and she's normal and fun!

Squawk and hiss at whoever woke them up early. We got him up at 11 and he was up already so that was a relief.

When we traveled back home for Thanksgiving, I woke him at 4am. Half of the trip, he hissed at me. Then he realized it was a 10hr trip and he couldn't get out the cage, so he changed his attitude, lol.

L has been able to play with two puppies this weekend and it makes me kind of guilty we won't get her a puppy because I'm allergic and our current complex doesn't allow dogs. And I don't really want the responsibility either.

My city has a platonic personals section so occasionally I'll look there. It's the internet so there are a lot of strange pepple and also bicurious/ lesbian folks who don't know what "platonic" means. LOL. I met a couple of nice people this way and went out to dinner/movies a few times. But as I said I suck at making friends so either those people were both hit by buses or else they thought I was weird. It's been a few years since I've tried so maybe I'll have better luck today.
