I hope everyone had a good weekend. I met up with a friend in from OOT today and she got to meet 2.0. And I cleaned up our patio for a toddler splash party I'm hosting tomorrow. Good times

A toddler splash party sounds fun gogadgetgo. Hopefully you'll have some frozen grown-up drinks too!

We are at the beach for the week. I'm exhausted, but in a good way. I chased the girls around in the pool this morning, and dug a million holes in the sand this afternoon. I kept my energy up with a gigantic scoop of peanut butter ice cream, yum!

We are doing nothing this week. The rain is going to wash GA off the map. I was thinking about running to Ikea.

I heart Ikea so much. We go so often the employees know us by name. I can spend all day wandering around dreaming.

I know you're not there currently but DH is off to Nashville this week. He'll say hi for you!

That would have been awesome! But the idea of trying to fly with both kiddos gives me hives.

This last week has been tough. Last Wednesday dh's sister called to tell us that her husband has been cheating on her for the last 3 years with more than one woman. He denied he even had a daughter (she's 9 months, my nephew is 3) and planned to start a family with this other woman apparently. He won't move out (although legally he has every right to be in there house).

We were over there Saturday (and he tried to tell us not to come over) and it was just crazy. Lots of yelling etc.. (the kids were napping at this point; we took our nephew to the park nearby when he woke up), the police came over (while we at the park). We were completely shocked that he would do this. He fooled us all.

So that's been my life the last week pretty much.

And on a pregnancy related note, 30 weeks today! My back is constantly hurting me. I ask dh for a back rub and he just continues to play his stupid iphone racing game. I might need the botb knife at some point. Plus he went for a haircut tonight and was gone 3 hours (cut by a friend's wife; I shouldn't have been surprised he was gone so long)

Kelle - I'm sorry for all the drama. That sucks.

And try a maternity support belt for your back. It was a lifesaver for me with 2.0.

It just makes me so sad for SIL. She's completely done with the marriage, but still has to live with him.

On the plus side (if there is even one), she's met with the 2 women and it sounds like they are actually on her side.

The one that he said he wanted to start a family with knew he had the son (said he wanted to give him siblings) but knew nothing about the daughter (he was out of state with her the weekend SIL was due with my niece, and didn't even answer his phone). When she confronted him he still denied it. The kicker. Had they had a child and it been a girl her name wold have been Elizabeth. My nieces name is Elisabeth.

He said he was going to divorce SIL and when that didn't obviously happen he would say things like they were having custody issues and so it wasn't finalized etc.

The elaborate lies be told just blew us away. Never would have expected this from him.

I'm so sorry for everything Kelly. What an awful situation.
