I think finding out he's my brother would be worse than serial killer. With a serial killer, I think it'd be easier for me to cut ties because he's doing something heinous and disgusting. But if he's my brother, we still might be in love and have an awesome relationship and it would be more difficult to walk away from that.

I don't think I'd be too bothered about the brother thing. I mean, we're not having kids, and since we were raised separately there's no role confusion, so what's the problem? To me, thinking that this is SO bad that it's worse than being a serial killer or something is super weird.

At first, I was going to disagree and say it's worse if he were your brother. And then I thought about him sleeping with a dead body, and then coming home and propositioning you...

A friend of a friend had this infection, which turned out to be a parasite that comes from dead bodies.  It turns out her BF who worked at a morgue.... OH WAIT.  We did that once on the nest.

For me, that he was a child molester/into child pornography, if he raped someone, or if he killed someone(s). The brother thing would be awful and devastating, and a total mindfuck, but not the worst thing I could find out.

No, I definitely agree that killing people is worse than sleeping with your sibling. Thank God they didn't have kids, though. 

Not that I'm encouraging incest, but unless your family carries a recessive gene, there's really no more physical to the kids than if they had any other two parents, right?

I learned from mid-90s daytime talk shows that it's subsequent generations that get fucked here, because they can be missing genes thanks to the incest 2 generations previous.  I can't give sources though.

Me, neither. In fact, I don't think I'd've had my marriage annulled in that original story. Probably wouldn't have children together, but I don't think I'd annul.

I think serial rapist would be worse than serial killer, but only by a millimeter. BTK killer being my husband would probably be the worst, come to think of it.

ETA: I stand corrected: there are a couple of other scenarios pp's have listed that are more horrifying. Eek.
