Window Boxes: What to put in them?

They get morning sun, then shade the rest of the day. I'd love to have something that trails out over the sides. I was also thinking something with a little height might look nice, but obviously not too tall. My neighbor just put up a window box (um...copy cat?! lol) and she planted marigolds. I'd rather do something a little different than that. Impatiens are nice, but they are terribly over done around here. What do you recommend?

Coleus, Torenia, Bacopa, Begonia, Ferns...
many choices. And definitely don't use just one plant! Use at least 3 different plants.

Eta: I put sedums and succulents in my hanging baskets because I'm lazy about watering. It can be hard to find ones that tolerate low-light or are zone hardy though.
