My top 3 favorite designs: Alexandria (classic design and color), Kate (beautiful construction), and Ken (loved the shape and color). My bottom 3: Helen (hot mess), Karen (ill-fitting), Timothy (fug).
I do not understand why they had Sandro in the top three. That outfit was so hoochie. And I didn't get why Kahindo was the loser. I mean, sure it wasn't all that interesting, but I didn't think it looked nearly as bad as Timothy's or Helen's.
And I really didn't care for Alexander's billowy thing. What was that? So far the judges have shown us that execution issues aren't sending people home, but being boring is.
I seriously don't know why I watch this show. They kick Kahindo (sp?) off for a very nice looking, well executed dress (in fact, I think I said - oh, that's nice. I would wear that - which i know is NOT THE POINT - but i don't think being normal and well executed should get you kicked off). And let sustain-o-timothy stay? Racerback in the front crushed velvet 90's fug? What? And Sandro's boob shelf with lace ric-rac trim that was WAY TOO TIGHT? Seriously? Sue's ruched to hell hot mess? Helen's was also a hot mess but her nervous breakdown kind of stole the show and kept her on.
Whatever. I don't think the right person went home. Clearly this was a personality based Auf. There were other dresses equally - if not more so -boring and those designers got to stay.
OMG. This episode pissed me off. Timothy is SUCH A TOOL. Helen's design was a hot-mess (all though her reaction made me feel a little compassion for her!).
Kahindo gets the boot? I think she has more talent in her little pinky than timothy does in his entire body. I was really disappointed.
When I saw who was in the bottom 3, I knew Kahindo would be auf'ed Designers who receive a critique of boring almost always are the ones who are eliminated. The producers want to keep Timothy in because they like his weirdness/drama. I knew he wouldn't be eliminated because of the previews from the first episode.

I couldn't believe Heidi stopped the runaway show to make Tim go comfort Helen. You want to be an uppity bitch? Deal with the consequences. I wasn't that excited about Kate's dress, I think it's because I already know what she can do. I did like Dom's green and white dress. There were a couple dresses that came down the runway and I had no idea who made them. It's difficult in the beginning because they focus so much on the drama whores that the quiet designers barely get screen time.

I was surprised that Braden was only safe. On the runway, I thought his dress was really stunning! Did they not want him to win twice in a row?
I didn't love Kate's dress, and I thought it looked a little sloppy, but oh well. And I was shocked that Sandro was in the top....I think you could see the model's undies from the lace panels on the side! And how does the bare midriff make it modern?
I think this may be another season where I don't understand what the judges are looking for....
Timothy's dress was definitely bad bad bad. Hilarious that he told the judges he pulled fabric from the trash....I'm sure they're keeping him for entertainment purposes. Also, why wasn't Karen at the bottom? That dress fit her model horribly!

That was a little dramatic, and honestly, it looked like Tim wasn't quite sure what to say to her. He had warned her at the critiques to make sure she had enough time to do what she was doing....
