BabyLiu fell down a stair & landed on her face. (She's ok.) I think she may have broken a tooth. I'm not 100% because she's not really cooperating, but it looks like there might be a point. Or something stuck to her tooth maybe.
If its busted, is she ok? Should I take her to the dentist? Other?

I need a little more info. You think it's a little chip or is it like a big piece, or can you tell? I would go ahead and take her into the dentist. If there's a sharp edge where it's possibly chipped or broken she can cut herself on it. May need to be filed down. I'm sorry, I know it's scary!

From what I saw it would be a smallish chip. It kind of looked like there was a kind of skin hanging off of the tooth. But I didn't get a real good look. Trying to look in her mouth was pissing her off more than the fall did so I gave it up until its time to brush the teeth.
I hate that her first trip to the dentist will be for that.
Take her to the dentist. DD chipped a front tooth (we're still not exactly sure how) when she was about 16 months. They hd to do something to seal it at the chip so nothing would happen to the root. We're supposed to have it looked at again soon to see if additional work is needed.

I got a good look while we were brushing eachothers teeth. The tooth isn't chipped, but she has an owie on the inside of her mouth. I think what I was seeing was a piece of skin she bit off hanging from her tooth.
She looks like she went a round with Pacquio, but at least her tooth isn't broken.

You will still need to watch that area. My son fell and although he did not chip his tooth there was trauma to that area. We had to have the tooth extracted since it essentially died when he had his fall. It was terrible. I hope that you lo is ok but don't just write it off.
I took Gomer to a pediatric dentist for a 1-year checkup. She said that most kids have some trauma to the mouth between years 1-4 and it's best to go ahead and bring them in, even if there's no visible damage. The trauma can affect their bite, how their adult teeth grow in, etc.

If only you had never fed her HFCS her teeth would be perfect. HTH!
But, for real, keep an eye on it. I don't know if my ankylosed tooth was due to congenital problems or an early trauma, but that shit was the reason I had to have braces a 3rd time and eventually just extraction and implant b/c the tooth couldn't be fixed. It was a very very costly tooth.
