So I am thinking of getting a ring sling. I have tried a Moby before and didn't really like it. I have an Ergo which I loved with DD2. I remember seeing this lady at church before and she had her baby in a ring sling and it just seemed so easy to nurse your LO in. So I'm looking at the Maya wrap and Ella Roo. If you have one, which would you recommend?
Definitely a Maya wrap. 1) they have a pocket and 2) my SIL got an Ellaroo RS and her 10 lb son bent the rings. There was a recall, but some how she got hold of one that missed being recalled. Ellaroo woven wraps are AMAZING, the ring slings are just not up to par in my book. I still use a RS with the girls (I have gotten really good with a back carry in the RS, so that is our go-to carry. Mine is a homemade one that I bought off of craigslist.

Yeah, I saw that there was a recall back in 2008? But how is it that it's still being sold on Amazon? I also read that the new ones are made in Italy.
I am not sure how they are still being sold. I will have to ask SIL where she bought hers from. Sling rings themselves are pretty cheap. www.slingrings.com. Then you get some cotton or cotton linen material in the pattern of your choice, and you do some simple sewing (or use stitch witchery) and do it yourself. If you feel confident in your sewing skills, you can make a lot cheaper than you can buy.
Let us know what you choose. I love looking at other people's fluff.
