Hi everyone! Haven't updated in a month or so... L and I finally moved down to be with my DH, in our new house. We just took the essentials so that our old house will be staged.
Life down there (right on the border of WV) is very different from living in FL or even the Toledo area. Very wood-sy. My backyard is a forest with deer, foxes, tortoises, all kinds of birds. It's very cool! I do get a little nervous bc there are also coyotes, bobcats, and bears. Supposedly, they stay higher up so I hope it remains that way.
We are doing quite a bit of renovating.... all new paint and new carpet are all done. When we sell the other house, we are redoing the bathrooms (they are horrible) and possibly the kitchen.
As far as Lauryl, she is just awesome. She says a bunch of words "Cat" "meow" "bye bye" "Hi" "Gus" "fish" "Dada" "Mama" and probably more I can't even think of right now. She is constantly surprising me! We are doing a Mommy and Me swim class and it is just so fun!!

Stephanie- that sounds like a great house! As long as the bears leave you alone
I am 18 weeks and will be finding out the genders this Friday! I've still been feeling pretty well although sometimes I'll have days where I'm more achy or uncomfortable. I guess that will only increase. Just keeping my fingers crossed that I will feel as well as possible and that the babies stay completely healthy. I'm already starting to think about when I'll quit work. My boss was saying she doubted I could go much past October so I almost wonder if the end of October will be my stopping point. So exciting! I'll see what the doctors think at my next appointments coming up. I guess they can't estimate too much until more time goes by.

Can't wait to hear what you're having Lauren! I'm going to guess one of each.
As of right now I'm 38w1d and not feeling great. Not feeling like I'm in labor, but not feeling great. The only real thing we have left to do is install the car seat base, which will be done tomorrow. Then its on. But I highly doubt I'll go early. I'm just trying to focus on the whole labor thing and get as prepared as possible. I just finished a fabulous cup of Third Trimester Tea and will possibly sit on my exercise ball for a bit.
Still working on getting all Quinn's kindergarten stuff prepped, so glad his school provides most of his supplies. I do need to wash all his uniform clothes and possibly get him some new shoes. Oh and you know, prepare him for becoming a big brother!
It's been a long week here. Amelia had her first stomach thing and passed it to me. She was better after 2 days but it was much more difficult for me to get my stomach back after. I finally went to triage yesterday and got fluids and feel so so much better now. I really hope I don't get that feeling again for a long time. That's 2 stomach viruses this pregnancy from the girl who's terrified of throwing up.
It was cool to watch the baby on the monitor in the hospital. He's a crazy one. He seems so much more active than Amelia was, especially this early, and you can literally watch my belly and see him already. I'm guessing because the placenta is anterior instead of posterior this time. I think these 2 are going to give me a run for my money when they get together. I foresee lots of organized sports in our future.
Glad you are feeling better, Sara. I didn't realize that A's getting a little BROTHER till now- congrats!!!
We had our anatomy scan yesterday and couldn't be happier that it's a boy and girl!! So thrilled. The babies look great, they are each 8 oz. so, so happy!
