They've been indicted on 39 counts related to fraud, tax evasion, etc. I know Juicy Joe can be a little shady but I was actually surprised by this. Supposedly they created fake W-2s to qualify for loans. WTF?
They are facing 50 years in prison. I don't see how they are going to get out of this one. I feel so bad for their kids.
I just read about this! I too, feel bad for their kids. Too bad THEY were not thinking of their kids when they thought they could get away with it. I have zero sympathy for the 2 of them.

I definitely feel bad for the kids, especially Gia because she is at the age where you know kids at school are talking about it (I think she is like 12 years old).
Teresa and Joe have always seemed shady, and since the beginning of RHONJ, I always got this feeling that they were living well beyond their means.
I stopped watching RHONJ a long time ago- partly because I couldn't stand her. She is so vapid.
I just read that they were both released on $500k bail. EACH. Where is this money coming from?! They are something else, that's for sure.
I think she makes a good amount from her cookbooks, wine and celebrity appearances. I think she's used some of that money in the past to keep her husband out of jail, too.
I can only wonder how they explain this to their children. I'm sure they spin in that people are out to make them look bad, and EVERYTHING IS JUST FINE.
I saw on Eonline that Joe is actually still a citizen of Italy, and does not have U.S. citizenship, meaning he could be deported. Isn't that crazy? Didn't he grow up basically in NJ? Why wouldn't you become a naturalized citizen?

Yeah, I was shocked to hear that he isn't a US citizen. How is he not a US citizen at this point???

He's not the sharpest star in the drawer if you know what I mean...
So this was timely. I've never seen an episode of RHONJ. I randomly clicked a link for 5 best fights on RHONJ on youtube because I saw the news and they showed clip of Teresa flipping a table....so it piqued my interested. During the clip Teresa yells at another lady "I have NO effing skeletons in my closet! Thank you very much!" Um....you conveniently forgot about all that fraud! I think she feels she is above the law or she's delusional or something!
Two things I learned from watching the clip: 1. Money can not buy class, morals or tact. 2. I'm glad I've never watched this show.
