I have to agree. Although I did like that they started getting into how Pam and Eric met. I wish they had shown more of that less of Tara running around scaring Lafayette and Sookie. I kind of felt like it was all just set up for other thngs to happen and nothing really noteworthy happened to move the plots along.
I read somewhere that the first few episodes aren't all that great. Hopefully it picks up. And hopefully Lala really does stake Tara at some point. I don't blame her for never forgiving them for having her turned. They didn't do that for Tara, they did it for themselves.
ETA -- forgot about the one part that made me laugh -- Rev Newlin at Jessica's dork party bobbing his head to the music.

Reverend Newlin was awesome sauce. I like Christopher Meloni as the Authority dude, but I'm not sure that this Authority / Sanguinista (?) storyline is really going anywhere. The Eric / Lara? Nora? wrinkle could be interesting if they are holding her and didn't actually kill her this time. I'm surprised Tara could leave the house...I figured "Stay in the house" was a direct order from her Maker. I couldn't figure out what Sookie was doing with all those misters.

I think she got those to protect her from recently-escaped Russell Edgington. But if a day-old vampire can run through them with only a little pain, she's screwed.
Omg I hate child actors, so I find Emma super annoying. I don't mind if she stays a cute little puppy!
I understand what you mean. Emma's ok for me, but the child that was in the Authority board room just bugged me! Along with that southern lady in there - terrible acting!!
Ok I'm sorry let me clarify - I DISLIKE seeing child actors on tv bc I find their talents to be less than stellar. Their bad acting is distracting and unpleasant. I don't literally hate children lol.
