My stupid for the day...maybe for the month

So I ordered some beautiful personalized pewter Christmas ornaments for my nieces and one for my cousin that is getting married this fall.

Well I just got my shipping confirmation and instead of *NAME* 2013  like intended I ordered *NAME* 2012 !!!!   Huge fail....they are going to get them anyways, and I'm hoping it will be a good laugh.
As for my cousin who is getting married, I'm going to to try and justify it by the fact they started dating/first met in 2012.  
So mad at myself for not noticing my error earlier when I could have fixed it!

I ordered napkins for our wedding that were personalized. With the wrong date. It was awful and hilarious. $50 wasted!!

I have a tea beaker from Prince Charles' wedding to Camilla with the intended date; the Pope died and he had to reschedule.

this sounds like something I would do. Most the time I do stuff like this but I'm usually making it so I can fix it but it's still a pain

I was so nervous about getting DS's baptism outfit from an Etsy seller I'd never ordered from before that I unwisely decided to fib and tell her that the ceremony was taking place a week earlier than it was actually scheduled.

When the package arrived, I discovered she'd also made us this sweet christening bib to match his outfit as a surprise...and it's embroidered with the (incorrect) date I'd told her, not his actual baptism date. It so served me right.
