how was your weekend?Busy!! Had to move a lot of my classroom things to my new school on Saturday. Had to work on report cards that are still not done and due tonight at 9pm.
anything to AW? (PRs, races, recipes, etc)Had a new 56 mile bike ride PR (minus a mini mart stop and stops to get our group back together. I finally did a 56 miler under 4 hours! 3:56!!
did you do a long workout this weekend? how was it? 56 miles of fun on a very hilly, rainy, cold, course! Did a short six mile run on Saturday.

did you do a long workout this weekend? how was it? I ran 6.5 miles Sat. It went really well. It was my longest post-half which was in May and it seems I've finally adjusted to the orthotics in my shoes

did you do a long workout this weekend? how was it? Yes, I ran 8.5 miles on Sunday morning. It was only in the high 50s when I started, so the weather was perfect.
what was the most delicious thing you ate this weekend? (bonus points if you provide us a link to the recipe): Hot glazed chocolate and raspberry donuts at brunch yesterday. OMG they were so good. No recipe, because I didn't make them.
did you meet your H&F goals last week? Yes with exercise. I overdid it a little with diet. No change on the scale.
any H&F goals for the upcoming week? Keep up my usual routine, eat healthy with not too many splurges, and hopefully drop a pound at my weigh-in next week.
how was your weekend? My weekend was pretty good - hung out with friends and relaxed - Sunday brunch with Dad was great:)
anything to AW - I PR'd at my 5K on Friday night (24:17 - 7:50 pace) I want to break 24 minutes in my next 5K
did you do a long workout this weekend? how was it? I ran a 10 miler on Sunday morning - it rained while I was running which was nice, it was pretty warm out - lost some energy around mile 8, but otherwise it was a good run

did you meet your H&F goals last week? For the most part I did, I ate better through the week and ran 25 miles this week

how was your weekend? weekend was good, Friday night we went to a baseball game, saturday i had a great 4mile run and a great hot yoga class. I also walked around our downtown outside market and it was awesome. spent great time with dads yesterday!

how was your weekend? Very productive and enjoyable. Caught up on my training, on housework, on yardwork, and on a project for school. Also, DH surprised me by changing his flight and flying in early on Saturday (his flight wasn't supposed to get in until Saturday night!) so we were able to have date night!

anything to AW? (PRs, races, recipes, etc) I had a great speed work out Saturday, 1x2m, 2x1m. My pace was 10 seconds faster than my 5k from a month ago, and very close to what I would have run pre-pregnancy. I'm not in top shape yet, but it is still a confidence booster...which I needed, badly!

how was your weekend? Weekend was good, but went by way too fast due to a 13 hour long swim meet on Saturday.

did you do a long workout this weekend? how was it? I didn't work out on Saturday due to pure exhaustion, but yesterday I went on a 2 mile run. It blew! I was so sore from standing all day Saturday and it was crazy humid so my asthma wanted to make an appearance, but I pushed myself to do at least 2. Goal was 3.

what was the most delicious thing you ate this weekend? a lot...we got fresh croissants at the bakery saturday morning, had a really nice lunch on the balcony of cheese (brie, camembert, aged cheddar and an aged "mi-salé" gruyère), fresh bread, fresh mango and strawberries... and I made a homemade pesto with basil from our garden on sunday. yum.

did you do a long workout this weekend? how was it? yes, 11 mile long run. it was pretty terrible. i don't like running in unfamiliar areas. i had to stop a few times and figure out where i was. i thought i was doing a simple out and back but no! cape cod is tricky!

did you meet your H&F goals last week? i guess. i did all my runs and XT a couple times too but i'm starting to feel worn out. no injuries, just general fatigue. this happens everytime i train for something though. i start to hate running w/ purpose. almost over though. any H&F goals for the upcoming week? an easy and uneventful 12 miler would be nice. i really hate running more than 10 miles. it is just not for me at this stage of my life!

Sort of...I ran 8 miles on Saturday morning before my flight. I went less than 8:30 pace (thank you, altitude!) and felt fucking fantastic.
I made manicotti last night for DH for Father's Day. It's just about the only thing I can make and it was yum.
I suppose so...I ran 7 of the 9 days I was gone. However, I gained 4 pounds. Holy too many peanut butter m&ms and carby cafeteria food. Seriously...it was a tough food week.
Great! One of my best friends from college got married so we were up in Boston for her wedding.
