Aww, glad you had a great lunch! If you're not already, you could connect to both via LinkedIn and send the hottie a message that it was nice to meet him, etc.
Ok so I emailed him. Said it was great to meet him. Have a great time on your international trip to visit family.
He was like "great to meet you too! Can't wait to visit family. Ill be back in CA at the end of the month." Note - he lives in NYC. so, how does one respond to that? We have no team meetings with him, but maybe we do and I just don't know? Say, "awesome. If you wanna grab coffee you know where I work."? No because what if he will be plannin only on a team meeting??

Or... What?
I think a nice breezy "Awesome! Let me know if you need someone to grab coffee/a drink with while you are here." He can take that as friendly or date-ish, or whatever. I can't tell you what he meant by saying that. It seems he wants you to know he will be there.

I was HOPING you could read his mind, you jerk. Thanks for nuthin'.
My mind is so brain dead, it can't even read itself. Me talk good.
I don't have dates yet! BUT ... what does it MEAN that he mentioned he will be back out here? hahaha. Just being friendly, like - hey I'll see you with your coworkers!?
