Bad news for Jack. Poor guy. And I feel a little bad that after my initial feelings of sympathy, I started speculating whose MS drug he would end up taking (my facility manufactures one).
New father Jack Osbourne is facing a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.
The former reality star and son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne revealed his health crisis in an interview with People released Sunday. He told the magazine he was angry and frustrated when he found out, and he's concerned about his family.
Multiple sclerosis attacks the brain and spinal cord, and can cause somewhat mild problems or serious disability, such as paralysis.
Jack Osbourne gained fame as a teen when his heavy metal father and his mother allowed the family to be profiled in the MTV reality show "The Osbournes."
That's sad. I have a good friend who was diagnosed 2 years ago and it's all fairly devastating. I know symptoms, treatments and prognosis vary, but it's so young to get such a hefty diagnosis.
It's Zach Wahls' mom. Obviously, she's somewhat of an outlier. A physician herself with incredible support and the know-how to throw everything she could at MS, Secondary Progressive at that. I'm reading her book now. Some good stuff in there. I'm really, really interested in how her clinical trials are doing.
I am so skeptical of this kind of stuff and apparently she sells things regarding her treatment as well?
We have been to Cleveland Clinic just like her and my DH has secondary progressive just like her. EVERYTHING we are being told and research tells us there is little that can be done from a research standpoint. Researchers seem to be at a standstill with secondary progressive.
Touting this kind of thing makes me uneasy, so I stopped watching the video.
As we have been told over and over again...John's best day is today.

The most heartbreaking thing is that he worked so hard to get his life on track - getting sober, losing weight, being healthy, and he just welcomed a baby. I hate MS. HATE. My high school best friend was diagnosed while we were in college. She passed away quickly. It was the most awful thing ever. Poor Jack.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
