I've posted before about makeup making me break out and appreciated the advice I've received. I'm still continuing to fight this acne battle and with being pregnant have limited options for treatment.
We just returned from a week at the beach and have noticed that my skin is looking so much better after a week in the salt water. According to my google research, it looks like using sea salt can work for some people's acne. Since I've seen positive results this past week, I'd like to give it a shot and continue using it at home. I figure things can't get much worse at this point. Which brings me to my real question - has anyone ever used sea salt for their acne? Or recommend a place to purchase it? Apparently they really vary in their quantities of minerals.

I haven't used it for acne, but I use Real Salt sea salt for a lot of things because it has a lot of natural minerals. It's also easy to find in the grocery store.
I thought I would update, in case anyone else out there is having similar acne problems!
I decided to stick with the sea salt ingredient and for the past week have been using Ocean Salt, a face and body scrub. Then I've been using the toner Breathe of Fresh Air, main ingredient seaweed. Lastly, been using Vanishing Cream moisturizer. All products by Lush and all use fresh, mostly organic ingredients - safe for pregnancy and no harsh acids or chemicals in them.
I am amazed with how my skin is responding - my acne is shrinking and disappearing over night! My skin also isn't dry and flakey, which it usually was when I tried to battle my acne in the past with dermatologist prescriptions. It feels good to have a little bit of success after such a long battle
