Just donated two large bags of stuffed animals and one box of toys to our church, which is holding a collection. It's rare that anyone accepts used stuffed animals/toys, so I'm thrilled these items will get a second life.

I have a problem hording shampoo and soap samples from hotels. So today I cleaned out my bathroom, and use them to create care packages for homeless individuals around my city. I added in bottled water, granola bars, laundry detergent samples (another habit) and a contact list for local shelters, sobriety homes, and food kitchens. I put them in 1 gallon zip lock bags, and they're now in the backseat of my car ready to be distributed. I normally pass 4 or 5 people on my way to work, so I should blow through the 30 bags I made fairly quickly.
Bonus- My linen closet in my bathroom now has room for LINENS!

Great idea. I have seen the bags before, but never put 2 & 2 together. I am packing for a vacation and have a shoe box full I was going to pitch, not anymore.
Were having a garage sale this Saturday, hope we make a few bucks! Oops, just read that this was supposed to be daily achievements well, I sorted out about half the garage to go, I think that counts!
