I haven't been doing so well lately. I'm anxious for them to call and schedule my gastric emptying study, because the sooner we a) find an answer, or b) rule out all of the major options, the sooner they can start treating my symptoms, if nothing else. I'm really tired of feeling this way and I've been feeling incredibly discouraged lately. I can't seem to find the positive in much of anything.

Sorry it's been rough for you ladies lately.
I know how hard it is when you feel fine for a while and then all the sudden feel sick again and can't figure out why. Pixie, I hope they can get your procedure scheduled soon and hopefully find some solutions.
As for me, I had my 6th Remicade infusion last month and my next is scheduled in September. I did recently introduce a new vitamin to my daily routine that I think is helping things. It's called GlutImmune and I take it in the mornings after my priobiotic. I feel like it's helped with the frequency of bathroom trips, maybe it might be something that can help someone else.
Thanks, OrangePixyStix. They called yesterday to explain how it works and I scheduled it for the 20th. It's a FOUR HOUR study. A 15 minute scan once every hour for four hours. The lady who called me said I should probably plan on bringing a book. I'm thinking I should be bringing more than one. Holy moly. I'm incredibly anxious, but it's got to get done.
I've also started back on a daily probiotic, but it's too soon to tell if it's helping or not.

Definitely bring a book, some music, and anything else to pass the time. Are you allowed to sleep at all, or do you have to stay awake the entire time?
My infusions take 4-5 hours start to finish, so I feel your pain. They do give me some pre-meds that make me sleep so I end up zonked out half the time but they come in every 20 minutes the first 2 hours to check blood pressure and temperature so it's difficult to stay asleep for too long!
Glad that it's coming up this month, fingers crossed that you not only feel better before then but that the process goes smoothly and gives you some useful information. Hopefully your anxiety doesn't increase, hang in there!
