despite the fact that I slept like crap the last 2 nights, I really did need to wake up at my regular time. I doubt my office will like my excuse of 'DH woke me with his teeth grinding and dis that so loud that I moved to the daybed in the nursery where there is no alarm in order to sleep'. I figure I'd wake up from the alarm in the master bedroom, or that DH would wake me, but he said he was so happy I was finally sleeping comfortably that he didn't want to wake me and figured the office could just deal. Which is true (my hours are somewhat flexible) but I'm taking a week of vacation starting Wednesday, so I didn't want to lose hours today...
It sounds like the extra sleep was needed. Hope it doesn't cause you too much backlog at work!
I was awake for a couple of hours last night because DH's stupid phone went on the fritz and kept buzzing for no reason. Of course he didn't even stir. Grrrrr.
I'm so jealous! I have had the dreaded hip pain from sleeping on my sides. I wake up a lot hurting. I think a Tylenol or Tylenol PM might be in order at night time now.
I have been having this too, and last night I tried something different. I put a really large (as in fluffy - a lot of batting) pillow between my legs. It was a body pillow, but I think you could get away with a normal one. I made sure to keep my leg propped up on it and not draped over leg-hugging it (if that makes sense). This morning I woke up with nearly no hip pain - just a little twinge here and there.
I'm hoping it's not a fluke, because I am so sick of dealing with hip pain. Might be something to try.
And Cheesecake - I'm glad you got some sleep at least!
