Did anyone else watch this? Or had everyone already given up on the show? Lol.
I thought the finale was done well overall. I did think that they dragged out the events leading up to it (i.e., most of this season), though. I also thought it was weird that we don't really know why the aunt decided to drive the car into the lake in the first place. Was she drunk? She seemed to be in a daze. Weird. I did think the scene where she 'confessed' to the parents was good.
Holder is bad ass.
What do you think will happen with the next season(s)? Do you think there will be another? Do you think we'll have to deal with dreary Seattle and its dreary people (only as portrayed on the show -- I mean no offense to Seattlites , or will there be a change of scenery / characters?

I watched it! My impression was that she drove the car because she wanted to be a good little mistress and help out her boyfriend since he was arguing with Jamie about not being involved.
The whole scene where she confessed and the Larsens realized what she was talking about was very intense. I knew she was shady but I never saw that coming at all.
I can't imagine they could do a third season but it's possible.

I thought it was so fantastic. I sobbed from Terry's confession all the way through Rosie's movie. They did drag it out, but the emotional payoff felt worth it to me.

i'm not a regular here, but i posted about it on ML and nobody is talking about it with me!
i thought that the finale was done well and i certainly hope there are more seasons.
i believe the aunt decided to drive the car into the lake was because she heard her boyfriend talking about how he won't ever leave his wife and they were supposed to be off to vegas together and she realised that her life with him is never going to happen, so doing this "for" him was a way for her to keep him.
i cried so, so hard during the entire scene with the aunt and the larsen's. and then the movie...omg, it was so emotional.
i really love sarah and holder and i hope that they are both in the next season together.
I agree with Sara about why Teri pushed the car into the water. When Ames and Jamie were arguing, he said something about not leaving his wife. I think Teri knew that it was probably true, so she was trying to think of a way to keep him. I think she was desperate to hang on to that relationship.
I really liked how they did the finale this season. There was a lot of closure and I loved loved loved the movie that Rosie did at the end. I was in tears.
I hope they continue following Sarah and Holder next season. I like their characters a lot.

I think they have developed the characters well enough for story lines for both Holder and Sarah.
I wonder if they will follow the mayor? I cannot believe that he was actually in that room with those people to build a relationship and I hope like hell that he stays true to who he is and doesn't turn into the person that the old mayor and Jamie eluded to him needing to be.
