for me it was a 5+ both days!! i'm super glad abotu it too. i had an awful cold about 2 weeks ago that put me totally out of commission (not just in work outs-in all aspects of life) for about 2 weeks. it's been tough getting back onto the wagon but over the past week ive really been trying to push myself. this weekend was the best though. i feel like i'm right back where i left off (a bit sore though LOL!!) and was glad that i pushed myself the last week to really get back into the swing of things.
what am i training for? LOL to keep myself looking good in a bikini (see siggy)

I did my first "long" run since being injured - 9 mile - on Saturday. I felt good but I was breaking in new shoes (or maybe breaking back in my feet!) and kept having to stop and adjust my socks. It took me nearly two hours with all the breaks and I felt really energetic after (but my feet hurt too much to keep going) so it was less than fully satisfactory.
I spent much of the weekend finding a bike. You might recall I thought I wanted a Trek Madone. Well, I got on the bike and freaked out. I felt like I was going to fall. I rode it and I didn't get over that. And then I toppled over - caught myself, the bike didn't hit the ground, but it freaked me out. So I ended up getting a Trek 7.5 WSD instead. And this took all weekend because I wanted to ride the other brands, and we drove to every store on the west side of LA looking for them. So I finally decided on the 7.5 at 3:00 Sunday. DH and I went for a bike ride after . . . .it was pleasant but I was a bit afraid to go too fast on the thinnnnnn tires so again I felt like we covered a good distance but I didn't really get my heart rate up. Had fun though.

I had a 10-mile long run this weekend. I would rate it a 3.5 - it was pretty good, but not like OMG fantastic. I'm training for the RNR San Diego half (June 3).
We skipped Mother's Day at church (semi-bitter infertile here!) and went camping Saturday night instead. We got home around 1:30PM on Sunday and spent the rest of the day vegging in front of the TV. Very H&F of us, I know.
