He went on to say that he loves when ppl cry bc he knows they are at their limit, and if they don't quit, even better.
But I don't know. It made me feel so fucking pathetic. We did arms on Monday and I couldn't even sleep bc they hurt so bad. He had me doing rounds of dips and push-ups (with one arm on a medicine ball) today and I just basically sobbed the whole time ... My arms are still shaking and it's been an hour. Unreal.
Edit: Holy fucking shit I just read this part. Crying for a moment because of mental frustration is one thing, muscles shaking past a few minutes of the exercise is dangerous. (IMO--I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night so take it for what its worth)

This is where I am, too.
If it'll make you feel better, I wet myself (luckily I had a pad on!) using a fucking chest press machine. With not very much weight on it. I'm pretty sure no one knew (I cleaned up the machine and high tailed it out of there). That my dear, is embarrassing.

Just tell him you have coregasms and that you always cry after sex, so... Wait. No. Don't say that.
Seriously, though, good for you for sticking with it. I would imagine that physical exertion could easily hinge through emotional release, so as long as you're not getting hurt, you're fine.
Another vote for maybe he's pushing you a little too hard, too fast.
Not that you shouldn't "feel the burn," or whatever, and after a good session w/ my trainer, I'm definitely shakey and feel it for the next day or so, but *that* much pain, like you're describing, sounds like a bit much, IMO.
You're badass for sticking with it, for sure, just be careful that you're not causing more harm to your muscles than good.

I think you might be pushing yourself a bit hard on the physical stuff. Be careful, I don't want to see you get injured and have to sit out several weeks!
Please talk to him about how long your recovery time is taking and he can hopefully better judge your limits. I'm very conscientous about sports injuries and I would be worried were I in your position. There's no advantage in hurting yourself.
That being said, I was driven to sob-crying once during a bootcamp session where we went for far too long and I experienced my first ever asthma attack. It sucks because physical activity triggers minor asthma for me now (even three years later). Nonetheless, I went back to class for the rest of the session and I was fine.
You'll get stronger quick and this will be a mere memory.
