Oh boy. Way too much drama in this episode. My top two were definitely Bradon and Dom. There were a lot of contenders for the bottom, in part because of fit and taste: Alexander, Karen, Sue, Helen, Miranda.
And, Sandro. Holy hell. What a nightmare. How unprofessional his little temper tantrum. I feel like he's just too aggressive, so if he doesn't get his way he makes it known and acts out until he gets what a reaction. He was just so out of line. I still am not quite sure what he was angry. It seems like he's just been angry since day 1. Like steroid angry. I'm interested to see what will come out about it after the fact.
It's just a shame that Sandro got all that airplay for it instead of Bradon's sweet little moment on the runway. Not gonna lie, I teared up over his on-air proposal and Skype conversation.
I agree. I really liked Bradon and Dom's looks. Helen seems too fragile. She does not take receiving criticism very well and she should probably focus on her own design instead of trying to help/give input to other designers.

Helen. Man, she sure talked a big game that she can't back up one iota. I wonder if she's watching this season and cringing at her first few episodes.
Sandro? Sayonara, assface. He has some serious issues that go far beyond the regular level of artistic crazy. Zach's smackdown was amusing and I bet he did a happy dance that he doesn't have to have his eyes assaulted by Sandro's garments any longer.
I dislike how they are pushing Kate on us. Why did we need to give someone a second chance this season?
Dom's outfit was great. I like Bradon's as well. I'll say it again, I have no idea why Sue is there. Where was the design in that? Ugh. And the rainbow clown collared outfit? Yikes.
Helen - for trying to have this badass image...I've never seen someone quite so fragile. She cries at the drop of a hat.
Sandro - yes, agree that he's been angry since day one. LIke...psychotic angry. He was out of line asking for a critique when he did. The fight he was out of line. And he would have remained if he hadn't punched the camera. Glad he's gone. Had some serious taste issues anyway so it was only a matter of time.
Miranda - also don't get why she's there. She'll be gone soon. And she's another one who is just beyond overly emotional. What is the deal??
Dom and Braden's were my favorite. I would have given the win to Dom. Again. The way she pieced that garment together was amazingly technical.
I also don't get why the show is pushing Kate so much. 1. I honestly dont' remember her from her previous season - nor do I know why she's here instead of in an AllStars version is she's already been in the comptetion. But whatever. The producers have to have their "It" girl every year (Gretchen...oh god, who was that chick who couldn't sew at all who won that one season by putting the same dress down the runway every single week?? Ah - the google tells me it was Anya). 2. I don't think she's that great. What she put out this time...eh.
I'm glad Sandro is gone because he really needs to be medicated, but I have to say that I understand why he wanted feedback. As a viewer of the show, it has always frustrated me a bit that some very good or very questionable pieces are designated "safe" and then we her nothing about them. I can't imagine how frustrating that must be as the designer who believes he is in the crosshairs.
That was the most entertaining episode by a mile. I wondered if they were going to find out during the show about the SCOTUS decision. I've also always wondered how far in advance these episodes are filmed and now I have an idea.

Seriously. I am astounded that Nina didn't call it out for taste. I mean, it looked well made, especially now that I see pics, but oh.my.God the ugly.

Just got caught up... I also teared up at Bradon. I think he's my fave. I like Dom, too. I like the deaf designer's (don't know his name) anti-drama personality, and he seems very supportive of the others, but his work doesn't stand out to me, so I worry he'll be gone soon. I think Kate is overrated, and am glad Sandro's gone and don't like Miranda, either. I really didn't like Alexander's harlequin explosion, but I guess it was better than some of the others. There are still too many contestants for me-- there is at least one woman (Alexandra? Maybe?) and one man (Michael? IDK his name) that I feel like I know nothing about.
I'm glad Sandro is gone - he was seriously a tick time bomb. however I'm disappointed he stormed off so that Miranda couldn't be auf'ed. She needs to go next.
I liked Dom's dress (the ties at the top were a bit much, but if those were scaled down, I would wear the dress) and Bradon's top. I think the top is what gave him the win.

I do think she's good - but I also feel that she's kind of a one-trick pony. Dresses w/ corsets. I just don't see nearly as much creativity in her work as I see in others'.
