I can't wear contacts so I must wear my eyeglasses when I run. Just form the sweat on my nose, my glasses are constantly falling down and thus I'm consistently pushing up my glasses which is a royal pain. What makes it even worse is that since my hands are also somewhat sweaty, I've hit my actual lens and then my lens is oily/dirty and that just frustrates the living crap out of me even more!
Is there anything I can do to better hold up my glasses? I don't need sunglasses since I'm mainly running at night now...
I have the same problem! It's so obnoxious. I really don't have any suggestion, just sympathy for you.
I ran for 25 mins today, and my hands were sweaty, so as I was pushing up my glasses, my fingers touched my lens and then I had to run with 1 lens that was clear and the other lens which was dirty/oily and my vision was smeary. It was a pain in the ass. I eventually just took of my glasses and put them in my mailbox as I ran by my house and continued running... praying I wouldn't get hit considering it was getting dark, I live in the country in a neighborhood with no street lights, and I am just about blind.
I really need to also invest in some reflective gear.
I'm blind as a bat but luckily I can wear contacts. So what if you wear a headband and tuck the ear pieces of your glasses under the headband to help keep it in place? The only thing I can think of is that it may give you a headache after a while if your headband is too tight but worth a try? Just a thought.

I don't normally wear a headband when I run (since I bobby pin my shorter layers back)- I only have Sweatybands as workout headbands, and I dont think the elastic will "hold" my eyeglasses back but I could try.... thanks for the sugg
I wear prescription sport sunglasses to run in. I would rather run blind than wear my glasses and I am one blind chick. I hate it when they fall down and then jostle up and down when I run or workout.
I'm OK with running in my neighborhood without glasses on, but when I'm running on a trail, I need to be able to watch for uneven terrain and tree roots and stuff. I have something similar that I picked up from the local sports store. Mine have a smaller opening for the ends of my glasses, since my tips are kinda small. They work pretty well.

I got the legs of my glasses adjusted to be pretty tight/close fitting to my ear so there isn't much movement at all. They slide down a little still, but not so much that I have to be pushing them up!

i would try a wide stretchy headband that would help hold them on. I would also talk to your eye doc - sometimes they can offer you more grippy nose pads
