Is this a known thing, or perhaps just coincidence?
The last two times I've taken my dog out running with me, the next morning she seemed sick- grass eating, a little grass puke, not eating kibble. Last time she ate early afternoon and then seemes fine after that. I've been "running" with her (couch to 5k and I'm slow as hell) for about a month and Friday and yesterday would be the first possible issues. She's a 7ish year old labbish mix who's spent a lot of time at the dog park, for what that's worth. Also, we go out in the evening and its not been that hot.
I run with my dogs several times a week. The only time I've noticed a correlation between running/getting sick is if they eat too soon before running. And so I don't feed them until after we run (we are typically morning/early afternoon runners)
It could be a fluke, but if it continues to happen I'd get her to the vet just to get checked out. My German shepherd has an extremely sensitive stomach and gets a "grumbly" or "gassy" stomach randomly. But it doesn't have to to do with running.

I'm tempted to say coincidence. I run almost every evening with my dog and he doesn't usually get/act sick. However, if he wasn't feeling well to begin with, I could see how running might aggravate the condition.

What does the vomit look like? Is it mostly yellow bile? My guy is not a good eater. If he skips breakfast and dinner he usually throws up the next morning. Happens everytime he goes without eating for 24 hours
