I actually thought it was good--lots of stuff going on. Buuuut, where will it go next week? I feel (and said this on another board) that next week will be snooze city, much like season finale of GoT after the Red Wedding.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. But I want more Warlow and Sookie loving! Or really more loving in general. Can I say I just really miss that aspect of the book ha ha.
I can't believe next week is the finale. I feel like the season just started. Also, it was disgusting when Billith stepped on that dudes head.
I actually liked the funeral. On one hand, I was like "this character is gone... why all this", but then I liked Terry and I thought it was a nice send-off.
THANK GOD there was no wolf story this episode. GOD that's a boring and seemingly pointless storyline. Let's all growl at each other and fight, oh, and let's throw a kid into it so that we have a reason to growl and fight.
The vampires. I don't know - it just felt dis-jointed to me. And maybe that's the point. They are all kind of "fuck you" now.
I really like Warlow and Sookie together. I think he is hot, lol. Much better looking than Bill (too short) or Eric (too tall and skinny). I hope he turns her. I think that would make the next season more interesting. I basically only watch for the vamp storylines anyway.

This is more related to the episode 2 weeks ago, but I thought of it while watching Sunday's episode and it bothers me because I think this whole aspect of the storyline is dumb.
Sam can smell Nicole is pregnant. Technically shouldn't he have also smelled when she was "in heat" and used protection?

If Andy's daughter is half fairy like sookie, why did she grow so fast but sookie never did?
I used to love this show, now- meh.
Sookie's not half fairy, she's just like 1/16th fairy. And it was either a fluke or divine interference that she inherited any fairy genes in the first place, I guess, since Jason didn't.

I doubt she'll be turned, ever. But basically, I only watch for when Alcide takes off his shirt.
It was ok but the whole Warlow thing seemed like a waste of time. I know the writers like taking three or more seemingly disparate strylines and bringing them together in the last episode or two and I did think that was fun last season with the raid on the Authority but that pattern is starting to annoy me. I hope they do a better job of keeping all of the characters interacting with each other throughout the next (their last?) season. I do like Sookie and Alcide together, Jason and Violet, and Sam as the mayor.
How did they not know that the fairy blood would wear off? WE all knew it would wear off! They've even done that before, haven't they? Had a hit of fairy and then it wore off? If not, Jessica would have been immune to sunlight ever since she killed all the fairy girls. Anyway, it was an excuse for naked snowbathing Alexander Skaarsgard, but otherwise no redeeming features.
I think this season has been such a horrible mishmash. It's like they are throwing in a bunch of storylines that don't go anywhere -- Warlow was so anticlimactic, and the fairy siblings was just odd, and the Lillith stuff just seems to come and go randomly. And Alcide is so all over the map -- sometimes he's an idiot, sometimes he's noble. And then this jump ahead in time...why haven't they started producing True Blood again? It's not like the recipe was lost forever, with all the resources vamps have they could bring it back into production. I don't know, maybe it's my fault for not paying better attention, but I don't think this show has earned my full attention anymore. I'm totally playing on the computer while watching it. Some things are definitely sloppy writing, though -- Sookie warns someone in one of the first few episodes not to feed off a vampire infected with HepV, so obviously it was a known thing and not "invented," unless this is simply a more virulent strain of it...but then say so, don't forget that you ever mentioned it. :-P

Warlow... I was like "That's it? Really? That's how this is going to end?". And even Jason getting out to save SOokie - and HOW exactly did Warlow die? What did Jason shoot him with? (I too tend to do other things while watching....)
And Lillith - so Warlow is dead (and his blood is no longer "good"), Bill is back to being Bill. So... that's it? Is the Lillith storyline just done and over?
And I feel like all the vamps being held captive - when they escaped, they got their revenge against their captors, but even that felt anti-climatic.
Alcide. Well, him but more the whole wolf thing. For the love of God, I just hope they keep him around as a love interest but just leave the whole wolf storyline out of next season. It was totally pointless AND boring. If I hear one more growl...

I thought the reason the blood worked in the sunlight was because of it being Warlow's blood (half fairy/half vamp), but I'm one of the people who only half watched this season while multitasking, so I might be wrong.
Right, but Bill was staked by sookie and he was fine.
It's just one of those plot points that is going to bug me. OH_ Bill, who drank Lillith's blood, can't die from being staked. But Warlow, who is Lillith's progeny, can die from being staked....

It wasn't so much fairy blood as it was WARLOW's blood. That gave all the vamps the seemingly permanent ability to be in the sun.
And it didn't wear off. When he died, his blood was no longer effective in the sun and the power "left" all the vamps.
